VAT and invoicing in Sweden

The standard VAT rate in Sweden is 25%. Our goods are dispatched from Austria, so an order from a Swedish business is an intra-EU business-to-business supply.

If you provide a valid EU VAT number, the reverse charge applies under Article 138 of Directive 2006/112/EC. In that case, your invoice from The Glow Trade carries 0% Austrian VAT. Please include your EU VAT number when you apply for your trade account so that we can invoice you correctly from your first order. For any questions about your own VAT position in Sweden, please speak with your tax adviser.

Sweden is in our Zone 4, Western and Nordic. We ship with DPD Standard, and the shipping cost depends on the parcel weight:

Labels, CPNP and the Responsible Person

Every cosmetic product placed on the EU market needs a CPNP notification and an EU Responsible Person. The Glow Trade's stock is CPNP-registered and EU-labelled, so the products you order from us are ready for the EU market.

The competent authority for cosmetics in Sweden is Läkemedelsverket (Swedish Medical Products Agency), under Article 34 of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. Läkemedelsverket publishes guidance on labelling. We add Swedish labels free of charge with your first order.
