VAT and invoicing for Slovakia

The standard VAT rate in Slovakia is 23%. Our deliveries to Slovakia are intra-EU B2B supplies from Austria. With a valid EU VAT number, your invoice carries 0 % Austrian VAT under the reverse charge rules of Directive 2006/112/EC, Article 138.

In practice, this means you pay the net invoice amount to us, and VAT is then accounted for on your side in Slovakia. Please confirm the details for your business with your tax adviser. We check your EU VAT number when you apply for your trade account.

Every cosmetic product sold in the EU needs a CPNP notification and an EU Responsible Person. The Glow Trade's stock is CPNP-registered and EU-labelled, so the products you receive from us already meet these EU requirements.

The competent authority in Slovakia is the Úrad verejného zdravotníctva Slovenskej republiky (Public Health Authority of the Slovak Republic). We add Slovak labels free of charge with your first order.
