VAT and invoicing for Romania

The standard VAT rate in Romania is 21%. We ship from Austria, so orders from business customers in Romania are intra-EU supplies.

If you have a valid EU VAT number, our invoice carries 0% Austrian VAT under the reverse charge, in line with Article 138 of Directive 2006/112/EC. For how these purchases should be treated in your own accounts, we recommend speaking with your tax adviser.

Labels, CPNP and the Responsible Person

Every cosmetic product needs an EU CPNP notification and a Responsible Person established in the EU. The Glow Trade's stock is CPNP-registered and EU-labelled.

For Romania, under the national implementation of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009, the particulars in Article 19(1)(b), (c), (d) and (f) and Article 19(2), (3) and (4), including the date of minimum durability, must appear in Romanian on both the primary and the secondary packaging. Other languages are not excluded.

The competent authority is the National Public Health Institute (Institutul Național de Sănătate Publică). We add Romanian labels free of charge with your first order.

What is the minimum order?
