VAT and invoicing in Spain

The standard VAT rate in Spain is 21%. As we ship from Austria, a business to business sale to Spain is an intra-EU supply.

If you hold a valid EU VAT number, our invoice carries 0% Austrian VAT under the reverse charge, in line with Article 138 of Directive 2006/112/EC. We recommend giving your EU VAT number when you apply for your account. For any questions about your specific tax situation, please speak to your tax adviser.

Shipping to Spain

Spain is in our shipping zone 7: Iberia, Greece and islands. We ship with DPD Standard, and the rate depends on parcel weight:

  • DPD Standard, up to 3 kg: €55.50
  • DPD Standard, up to 5 kg: €56.50
  • DPD Standard, up to 10 kg: €58.50
  • DPD Standard, up to 15 kg: €59.50
  • DPD Standard, up to 20 kg: €60.50
  • DPD Standard, up to 25 kg: €62.00

Shipping is free for orders from €1,000. We pack and dispatch your order within 1 to 2 working days after payment, as a tracked DPD parcel from Vienna.

Labels, CPNP and the Responsible Person

Every cosmetic product needs an EU CPNP notification and an EU Responsible Person. The Glow Trade's stock is CPNP-registered and EU-labelled.

In Spain, Royal Decree 85/2018 also applies. Under its Article 6, the particulars of Article 19(1)(b), (c), (d) and (f) and Article 19(2) to (4) of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 must appear in Spanish. The competent authority is the Spanish Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices (AEMPS). We add Spanish labels free of charge on every order.
