VAT and invoicing for France

The standard VAT rate in France is 20%. Our goods ship from Austria. For an intra-EU business supply with a valid EU VAT number, your invoice carries 0% Austrian VAT under the reverse charge mechanism (Directive 2006/112/EC, Article 138).

Shipping to France

France is in our zone 4 (Western and Nordic Europe). Your order leaves Vienna as a tracked DPD parcel 1 to 2 working days after payment. DPD Standard rates by parcel weight:

  • up to 5 kg: €24.00
  • up to 10 kg: €25.00
  • up to 15 kg: €26.00
  • up to 20 kg: €27.00
  • up to 25 kg: €28.00

Shipping is free on orders from €1,000.

Labels, CPNP and the Responsible Person

In France, Article R5131-4 of the Code de la santé publique requires the particulars listed in Article 19(1)(b), (c), (d) and (f) of Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 to be written in French. Other languages may be added. The competent authority is the DGCCRF (Direction générale de la concurrence, de la consommation et de la répression des fraudes, Ministry of Economy).

Across the EU, every cosmetic product needs a CPNP notification and an EU Responsible Person. Our stock is CPNP-registered and EU-labelled. We add French labels free of charge with your first order.
