The same terms apply to all trade customers, whether you sell in a shop, a studio or online.

VAT and invoicing for Bulgaria

The standard VAT rate in Bulgaria is 20%. When we supply from Austria to a business in another EU country, this is an intra-EU B2B supply. With a valid EU VAT number, your invoice carries 0% Austrian VAT (reverse charge, Directive 2006/112/EC, Article 138).

Under the reverse charge, the VAT is accounted for by the recipient, that is, by your business in Bulgaria. For how to record these purchases in your own accounts, please speak to your tax adviser.

Shipping to Bulgaria

We ship with DPD Standard directly from our warehouse in Vienna. Shipping rates to Bulgaria depend on the parcel weight:

  • DPD Standard, up to 3 kg: EUR 39.50
  • DPD Standard, up to 5 kg: EUR 41.00
  • DPD Standard, up to 10 kg: EUR 42.00
  • DPD Standard, up to 15 kg: EUR 43.00
  • DPD Standard, up to 20 kg: EUR 44.00
  • DPD Standard, up to 25 kg: EUR 44.50

Shipping is free on orders from EUR 1,000. We dispatch within 1 to 2 working days after payment, as a tracked DPD parcel from Vienna.

Labels, CPNP and the Responsible Person

Every cosmetic product sold in the EU needs a CPNP notification and an EU Responsible Person. The Glow Trade's stock is CPNP-registered and EU-labelled.

Bulgaria also has a language requirement: according to the Ministry of Health, cosmetic products may be made available in Bulgaria only if the mandatory information is on the primary and secondary packaging in Bulgarian. We add Bulgarian labels free of charge with your first order.

How ordering works

    Once approved, you see the net trade prices and put together your order of at least 500 EUR.

  3. Step 3

    Pay for your order by bank transfer.

  4. Step 4

    We dispatch within 1 to 2 working days after payment, as a tracked DPD parcel from Vienna.

What is the minimum order?

The minimum order is 500 EUR. Orders from EUR 1,000 ship free of charge to Bulgaria.

Are the products CPNP-registered and EU-labelled?

Yes, our stock is CPNP-registered and EU-labelled. We add Bulgarian labels free of charge with your first order.

How is VAT invoiced?

With a valid EU VAT number, the invoice carries 0% Austrian VAT under the reverse charge. The standard VAT rate in Bulgaria is 20%.

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

DPD Standard costs between EUR 39.50 and EUR 44.50 depending on weight, and is free from EUR 1,000. We dispatch within 1 to 2 working days after payment.
