VAT and invoicing for the Netherlands

The standard VAT rate in the Netherlands is 21%. Because we ship from Austria, your order is an intra-EU B2B supply.

With a valid EU VAT number, your invoice carries 0% Austrian VAT: the reverse charge applies under Article 138 of Directive 2006/112/EC. We recommend that you agree the treatment in your own accounts with your tax adviser.

Labels, CPNP and the Responsible Person

Every cosmetic product on the EU market needs a CPNP notification and an EU Responsible Person. Our stock is CPNP-registered and EU-labelled.

The Netherlands also has a label-language rule. According to the NVWA (Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority), the mandatory particulars for products sold in the Netherlands must also appear on the label in Dutch. The NVWA labelling checklist for cosmetics sets out the requirements. We add Dutch labels free of charge with your first order.

What is the minimum order?

The minimum order value is €500. From €1,000, shipping to the Netherlands is free.

Are the products CPNP-registered and EU-labelled?

Yes, our stock is CPNP-registered and EU-labelled. Please note that, according to the NVWA, the mandatory particulars must also be on the label in Dutch for products sold in the Netherlands. We add Dutch labels free of charge with your first order.

How is VAT invoiced?

With a valid EU VAT number, we invoice at 0% Austrian VAT under the reverse charge for intra-EU B2B supplies. Please agree the treatment in your accounts with your tax adviser.

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

DPD Standard shipping costs between €14.50 and €19.50 depending on weight, and it is free from €1,000. We dispatch within 1 to 2 working days after payment from Vienna.
