The six Gulf markets we supply
- The United Arab Emirates: the standard VAT rate is 5 %, and the authority is the Emirates Authority for Standardization and Metrology (ESMA) for the import registration of cosmetics, with products sold in Dubai additionally registered with Dubai Municipality through the Montaji system.
- Saudi Arabia: the standard VAT rate is 15 %, and the authority is the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA).
- Qatar: the standard VAT rate is 0 %, and the authority is the Pharmacy and Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Public Health.
- Kuwait: the standard VAT rate is 0 %, and the authority is the Ministry of Health, with registration filed through an appointed authorised representative in Kuwait (Ministerial Decree 344/2025).
- Bahrain: the standard VAT rate is 10 %, and the authority is the Ministry of Health (import permit for cosmetics).
- Oman: the standard VAT rate is 5 %, and the authority is the Ministry of Health, with conformity assessment by an accredited local certification body, an import permit via the Invest Easy portal and clearance per consignment in the Bayan customs system (Ministerial Decision 199/2021 makes GSO 1943 binding).

Shipping and dispatch
We ship to the Gulf by tracked courier. Shipping is quoted per order before payment, so you see the full delivery cost before you transfer anything.
Once your payment is received, your order is dispatched within 1 to 2 working days by tracked courier.
Labels and documents
Our products carry the INCI ingredient list on the label. The Arabic particulars required by GSO 1943 are applied for the Gulf market by the importer, and we supply the INCI list and product details needed for them.
For the registration file, we provide INCI ingredient lists, product photos and label details on request. Registration steps differ from country to country, so please check with the authority listed for your market above and read the import guide for your country at the end of this page.
